We are glad to announce that Aegis School of Business and Telecommunication has established Alexander Graham Bell Scholarships as a tribute to the father of the telephone. These scholarships will be awarded through national competitions carried out in transparent manner by the selection committee comprising of eminent people from academia and industry. This is to ensure a reliable supply of highly qualified personnel to meet the needs of growing telecom industry.

These scholarships are available for candidates from all parts of the world with proven academic records for pursuing Masters Program in Telecom Management (MPTM) studies at Aegis.

Alexander Graham Bell Scholars receive:

• Certificate of Alexander Graham Bell Scholar in a award ceremony.
• This scholarship covers up to 100% tuition fee waiver of INR 450,000 in Full Time Program and 200,000 in Part Time Executive Program.
• Guaranteed admission to Master Program in Telecom Management (MPTM) or EMPTM studies at Aegis.

Eligibility:

• Minimum score of 70% or 7.5 CGPA (on 10 scale) or 3.5 GPA (on 4 scale) in BS, BE/BTech, MCA, MTech, MSc and MS.
• For candidates from IITs, NITs (former RECs), Mumbai University, Pune University and top 30 Engineering colleges in India Minimum score of 65% or 7.0 CGPA (on 10 scale)
  

Selection Process:
Selection will be done by selection committee comprising of eminent people from academics and industry under the chairmanship of Mr. V. P. Chandan, Director, Aegis; Former President, Qualcomm India; Consultant, World.

Test Scores:

• Copy of any one of the Test Scores viz. GMAT (Min 600), GRE (min 1000, Aegis GRE code is 5730), CAT (Min 85), or G4ATR Online test similar to GMAT
• Short listing for interview
• Personal Interview by selection committee

Final selection Application deadline:
30 Dec 2009 for Part time Executive Master Program in Telecom Management (MPTM)
25 Jan 2010 for Full Time Master Program in Telecom Management (MPTM)
