St. Cross College is pleased to offer the Robin and Nadine Wells Scholarship. The Robin and Nadine Wells Scholarship 2010-11 is open to applicants of one year Master's courses in any subject. The Scholarship, worth £5,000 for one year, is intended to provide financial assistance to an academically meritorious graduate student who has been accepted into both an accredited one year's Masters programme at the University of Oxford and St. Cross College.

• The recipient will be a student of outstanding academic ability, who has been unsuccessful in a UK or University of Oxford (e.g. Clarendon, Beit) funding competition, and who therefore might not otherwise be able to take up their place at the University and St. Cross.
• The recipient will be required to demonstrate that they have applied, unsuccessfully, for funding elsewhere and, if awarded the Scholarship, must take up their place in October 2010.
• The recipient will be required also to show proof of their ability to meet remaining expenses.
• The Scholarship competition is not open to students who have already been accepted to St Cross College and the University of Oxford on the basis that they will meet their fees from personal resources. The Scholarship is not open to candidates who have already been accepted by another Oxford college. St. Cross College hopes to offer the Wells Scholarship annually.
