CAS Trust Scholarship Program 18/03/2010

OBJECTIVE The objective of the scholarship is to further students’ interest in the property/casualty actuarial profession and to encourage the pursuit of the CAS designations. ELIGIBILITY The CAS Trust Scholarship Program is available to U.S. or Canadian citizens, or those who have a permanent resident visa. To be eligible, an applicant must be currently attending a U.S. or Canadian college or university as a full-time student and must be continuing as a full-time student at a U.S. or Canadian college or university for the 2010-2011 academic year. An applicant should demonstrate high scholastic achievement, strong interest in the casualty actuarial profession, mathematical aptitude, and communication skills. Eligible applicants must have sat for at least one exam by May 2010. Preference will be given to applicants who have not yet won the CAS Trust Scholarship. The CAS Trust Scholarship Program will award up to three $2,000 scholarships to deserving students for the 2010-2011 academic year.
