The Center for Comparative and International Studies (CIS) at ETH Zurich is seeking a PhD student in International Political Economy Research area: The International Political Economy research group at the CIS is led by Prof. Thomas Bernauer (www.ib.ethz.ch ). It studies the interactions between states (politics) and markets (economics) in an open world economy in areas such as environment, finance, trade, and technology. Your background: We are looking for a candidate who holds an MA/MSc in political science and/or economics. Applicants should have strong methodological skills, a keen interest in questions of political economy, good knowledge of political science and political economy theories, and a strong command of English.
