The Wind Energy Division of Risø DTU is seeking to employ a PostDoc/Researcher in the Wind Energy Systems programme (WES) for working in the research theme “Wind Power Integration and Control”. WES is a research programme in the Wind Energy Division at Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, Technical University of Denmark (Risø DTU).
The Wind Energy Division has a track record of research in close co-operation with industry and the focus is on benefit to society, industry and partner research organizations. The research in WES is organized in projects which are typically externally funded and carried out in cooperation with national and international partners. The research covers areas such as system integration and control concepts for wind turbines and wind farms, electrical components, grid connection and large-scale wind energy penetration.

- Modeling and control of power systems
- Development of control strategies for wind power plants
- Development of wind power plants capabilities of providing system services
Qualifications
The candidate must have a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering and relevant qualifications within more of the following areas:
- Wind turbine and wind farm technology and control
- Modeling, analysis and control of power systems
- Use of power system simulation tools, e.g. PowerFactory from DiGSILENT
- Proven programming skills for analytical and modelling purposes, e.g. Matlab
