Scholarship opportunities
The European Master in Animal Breeding and Genetics (EM-ABG) is supported by the Erasmus Mundus program from the European Union. Within this program, scholarships for scholars are available. These are short-term scholarships for third-country (non-EU) academics to carry out research or teaching assignments as part of the EM-ABG.Selected scholars have the opportunity to spend a period from two weeks up to three months at one of the EM-ABG partner universities, and are granted a scholarship of €1200 per week (minimum duration of stay is two weeks), to €14,800 for a stay of three months (maximum duration of stay).

Note: ‘Third-country scholar’ means a national of a third country, who is not a resident of any of the Member States or the participating countries EEA/EFTA countries and candidate countries for accession to the EU, who has not carried out his or her main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the Member States or the participating countries, and who has outstanding academic and/or professional experience.

The application deadline for a scholarship for scholars is April 15. If you want to apply, please send us your CV (European format) together with your motivation letter, including the university of your first choice and the research or teaching assignment you would like to work on.
