European Virtual Institute for Malaria Research (EviMalaR)
The European Virtual Institute of Malaria Research (EVIMalaR) network invites applications for fellowship awards. Three awards are envisaged and each award will be for 3 years. Current funding indicates that the opportunity for renewal will NOT be possible. Evimalar is a joint research FP7 Network of Excellence, funded by the European Commission and currently involving 51 partners from 37 institutes in Europe, Africa, India and Australia (co-ordinated at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK). It seeks to integrate malaria research that is directed towards a better understanding of the basic knowledge of the parasite, its vector and of the biology of the interactions between the parasite and both its mammalian host and vectors.
Type of proposal requested: Two types (i) Research Resource (ii) Research fellowships each with its criteria
Value of Fellowship: Annual stipend of 55000Euro plus bench fee of 15000Euro
Duration: 3 years
