Description: Emerging Markets Group (EMG) is actively seeking candidates for a Chief of Party and Youth & Enterprise Development Specialist positions on several upcoming USAID-funded projects in East and West Africa. These programs will focus on enterprise development and youth livelihoods.

Qualifications: 
Chief of Party candidates must have the following qualifications:

Advanced degree in business administration, finance, economics or relevant fields

15+ years of experience managing large scale private sector development/capacity building programs focused on youth livelihoods and employment

Extensive experience planning, implementing and assessing work force and enterprise development interventions with a youth perspective

Demonstrated success in making strategic contributions to national level private sector workforce development initiatives

Ability to work effectively with industry leaders and local partners

Experience working in East and/or West Africa

Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and presentation skills

Fluency in English required

Youth & Enterprise Development Specialists must have experience working on private sector development, youth-focused programs with expertise in any of the following areas:

Workforce development

Enterprise Development/Entrepreneurship

Market linkage development

Civic engagement (civil society)

Health

Conflict/mediation

Access to finance/financial literacy
