NURSING OFFICER- I (4 posts)

The Clinic at Bulyanhulu Gold Limited has an excellent Opportunity for an experienced Nursing Officer, the successively candidate will be providing services within the Mining site.

Reporting Line: Charge Nurse

Location: Bulyanhulu Gold Mine; 1500km inland from Dar es Salaam; Shinyanga Regional, Kahama District.

Work Schedule: Rotational Status, (8 Weeks on 4 Weeks off)

The principle duties include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as a provider of First Aid and nursing care to all Bulyanhulu clinic/Under Ground Medical facility patients as required.
• Delivery of quality non emergence and emergency medical/trauma response care to all personnel at the work site
• Bringing to attention of BGML Management all matters relevant to the health and well being of the work force with appropriate respect for individual privacy and the strictest medical confidentiality.
• Maintain Professional development in relation to current international standard nursing skills and knowledge.
• Conduct routine observation; administer medicines, injections and vaccinations as ordered by the doctor.

Ideal applicant should have:

• Diploma in nursing from a reputable college.
• Minimum 3 years work experience in a reputable hospital or organization.
• Good interpersonal and commitment to teamwork, initiative and flexibility.
• Computer literacy in Ms word and excel is important.
• Must be with good communication skills in both Swahili and English.
