APPLICATION TO 2010 INTENSIVE SUMMER PROGRAM FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE (ISPEL) AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS SPRINGFIELD IS NOW OPEN! 

If your goals for the new year include studying in the U.S. or gaining a competitive advantage in the global market, the Intensive Summer Program for English Language (ISPEL) may be the tool you need to achieve your dreams. With two months of intensive language classes and engagement on a university campus and in the community, ISPEL helps advance your language skills, boost your confidence, and increase your knowledge of U.S. culture. In a safe and supportive environment, you will practice completing typical academic assignments including participating in class discussions, giving presentations, writing papers, and conducting research. Students who are conditionally or fully accepted to undergraduate or graduate programs will be at an advantage when starting the degree program because they will be able to register early for classes and will have had time to get comfortable in their new surroundings.
