Summary Description:
The Department of Middle East and Asian and Languages and Cultures at Columbia University invites applications for a junior position in Swahili studies. (The department name is being changed to reflect its growing emphasis on African studies.) We seek a scholar with a Ph.D. in any humanities/social sciences field whose research focuses on Swahili history, society and culture.
