Manager - Health
Duty Station: Regional Headquarter; BRAC Tanzania.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Developing strategy planning, designing, implementing, managing and monitoring of community based in
  • communication strategies in support of the BRAC preventive health care program in Tanzania.
  • Responsible for planning, supervising the training of community health staff.
  • Maintaining liaison with the community community leaders, Government and other donor organizations.
  • Developing culturally relevant ways of communication to ensure efficient program delivery including facilities
  • Represent organization in donor and Government meetings
  • Writing  donor report
  • Writing proposal for funding
  • Plan and conduct supervisory trips for staff. 
  • Implementing expanding and managing preventing health care program in Tanzania.
  • Assess training needs at all level.
  • Carry out program related assignments/ assignments as and when required
Qualifications:
  • MBBS/ Masters of Public Health
  • At least 3 years Experience in Primary Health care program special emphasis on prevention.
  • Ability to work in and supervise a team, to negotiate with religious leaders, local authorities and Ministries
  • Excellent communication skills - both in written and spoken English and Swahili.
  • Able to travel anywhere in the country.
Manager- Logistic and Transport Management

Duty Station: Country (Dar-es-Salaam),
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the activities of the logistics function of country and branch offices
  • Introduce appropriate systems and procedures to enhance the performance of the logistics function.
  • Ensuring all logistic related supports to all departments.
  • Maintain all procurement related systems for both major and minor purchasing.
  • Documentation of all purchase issues and assists the accounts and audit department relating the internal
  • Appropriate storing of materials and delivery to branch/related offices in time
  • Manage transport prepare guidelines for transport management
  • Prepare drivers logbook and manage couple of drivers within country and branch offices
  • Ensuring vehicle maintenance on a regular basis
  • Deal with any assignments as and when required.
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field (Bachelors or Master Degree in Logistics, Materials Manager
  • At least 3 years experience in material management /purchase/vehicle management functions in any ofii
  • Multi-discipline (Inventory Control, Purchasing. Logistics, Warehousing) is preferred.
  • Experience with MS word, Excel, using e~mail and the internet.
  • Requires strong communication skills.
Chief Accountant:

Duty Station:
Country Office (Dar es Salaam).
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in the formulation and implementation of financial management strategies & policies.
  • Oversee the continuous development and implementation of sound financial management systems.
  • Ensure integrity in financial and management reporting.
  • Manage annual audits (internal/external), including preparation of financial statements in accordance with standards.
  • Implementing continuous financial audit and control systems.
  •  Sound knowledge in income Tax, VAT NSSF & other relevant Act.
  • Reporting and Regulatory compliance. i g '
  • Must be conversant with an accounting package and be competent in MS Word, MS Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure able to prepare reports under strict deadline.
  • Exposure and experience in the use of International Accounting Standards.
  • Any other assignment by the CPH/Supervisor as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and an accounting qualification Cl
  • Possession of a Masters Degree will be an added advantage. '
  • Knowledge of general methods for evaluating financial performance such as income statement preparation
  • break-even analysis and fund flow analysis.
  • Ability to direct the analysis of financial transaction systems.
  • At least five (5) years experience in financial management, three (3) of which should be at senior manai
  • International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO). - '
  • Excellent communication skills- both written and spoken English and Swahili.
  • Self directed and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Sound organizational skills and ability to perform well under pressure.

why is brac as international ngo pay very low of its worker most people drop everyday tha orgarnization seem to be rich but its worker are working under very low payments and harrassments from bangladesh managers thats is why they employ women to undermine cause they dont knw they are rights like men payment of 250000 for a person who manage money is a temptation try to change salary structure and you ll see if people will still oor find better payin jobsss

the rates are too low and workers are working with managing and membership maintain to return back the money but you less consider...do not look on the achievements but also the shorfalls for the improvements of brac peolple are complaining workers are paid as if they are not working in an international ngo why
