The Microsoft Software Donation program provides nongovernmental organizations (NGOs, also known as nonprofit organizations) with software that helps you operate with greater efficiency and effectiveness. To determine if this program is right for you, please follow the steps below. Step 1: Determine Eligibility Please review these guidelines to help you determine if your organization is eligible to participate in the Microsoft Software Donation program. Final eligibility is determined at time of application, so the following guidelines provide a general overview of which organizations may be eligible for donations.Eligible OrganizationsAll nonprofit or nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) that hold charitable status in your country (equivalent to the 501(c)(3) status as determined by the United States Internal Revenue Service) are eligible to participate in this program.
