The ISCB Student Council is pleased to announce a internship at Burkhard Rost lab at Technische Universitaet Muenchen (Technical University of Munich - TUM). This internship is exclusively arranged by the Student Council in collaboration with Prof Dr Burkhard Rost for a undergraduate (Bachelors) or graduate (Masters or PhD) student from a developing nation. About Rost lab @TUM, Munich The principal aim of the lab is to predict important aspects of protein structure and function using sequence information, evolutionary information. Their research utilizes modern machine learning techniques such as neural networks, SVMs, tree-algorithms and Bayesian classifiers for in-silico predictions.
