What is a suitable project proposal? Four main criteria

• Suitable project proposals should contribute to the implementation of the Convention's Strategic Plan 2009-2015 for the conservation and wise use of wetlands
• Eligibility is restricted to countries on the List of Aid Recipients established by the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
• Project proposals MUST be endorsed by the Administrative Authority
• Project proposals must be submitted using the Ramsar form (sections B1 and B2 of the Operational guidelines)
  

The deadline for applications in their final form for the next round is 30 June 2011.
