Post-doctoral Fellow- Family Planning and reproductive health, sexual and reproductive health and rights

APHRC is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to conducting high quality and policy relevant research on population, health, education and development issues facing sub-Saharan Africa. APHRC seeks to fill a research position of a Post-doctoral Fellow to support projects on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

Major responsibilities: In collaboration with and reporting to the Program Leader: Support the implementation of SRHR projects in terms of data collection, data analysis, report writing and writing of papers for peer-reviewed publications.   Support proposal writing and fundraising

Eligibility: 
PhD in Sociology, Demography, Public Health or a related discipline, with interest in SRHR in sub-Saharan Africa in general, and Kenya in particular. Good writing skills and record of publications on population and SRHR, mix of quantitative and qualitative research skills, familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Statistical Packages (e.g. STATA, SPSS) and qualitative data analysis software (e.g. NUDIST).
