I was in school when the whole corridor became silent for a 88 minutes as if people were busy studying for their finals... guess again... in the 89th minute the shouts and banging of door and walls could be heard from across the street... it was Teddy Sheringham's equalizing goal for Manchester United... again not after the idea of at least going to an extra time and possibly penalties was washed away by Ole Gunar Solkjaer's goal when he scored for the winning record that started the mark for Manchester United's 'The Trebble' title. That was a day I saw people throwing free hugs to anybody who happened to be on their vicinity, it didn't matter whether you were a soccer fan, Manchester United fan, an enemy or what not... it was remarkable. What a day... in history to remember! Comments Comments are closed. | LIVEsports links
