With the financial support of the Directorate-General for Development (DGD), the Institute of Tropical Medicine is able to offer complete or partial scholarships to applicants from developing countries.
The admission requirements of the DGD scholarship
- Admission to the course
- Candidates older than 45 cannot apply for this scholarship.
- The DGD only gives fellowships to candidates from the following countries (NEW SHORTENED LIST!): Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cuba, DR Congo, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Guinea, Haiti, Indonesia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Niger, Palestinian Territories, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, South-Africa, Uganda, Vietnam, Zimbabwe.
- At least two years of professional experience. Please note that internships and prior thesis work are not considered as professional experience.
