Affairs and Partnerships Team Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to Search's policy work. S/he will support the successful implementation of grants for advocacy, including donor reporting and compliance, financial management, event coordination, and logistics. This is a temporary position through the end of May, with the potential for extension pending future funding and Coordinator performance.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate multiple grants focused on policy relating to conflict and peacebuilding;
  • Support planning and coordination of grant activities, including travel, logistics, and meetings;
  • Ensure compliance and implementation of SFCG policies and practices;
  • Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions;
  • Represent SFCG at donor and partner meetings as appropriate;
  • Oversee project administration, including developing and managing the workplan and resources;
  • Collaborate with other project focal points in regional and country programs;
  • Plan and execute public events;
  • Ensure timely project reporting.
Qualifications
  • Available immediately;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a social science;
  • At least four years of experience in peace-building, civil society engagement, development and/or related fields;
  • The ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship;
  • Experience working with donors and partner organizations;
  • Experience coordinating complex, sensitive projects;
  • Demonstrated experience in project management;
  • Excellent communication skills, including both spoken and written;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, as well as the ability to build and conduct effective professional working relationships, both internally and externally;
  • Spoken and written fluency in English;
  • Fluency in French, Arabic, and/or an additional language is advantageous;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sharepoint is advantageous
