Utajiri wa Gesi Asilia tulio nao mpaka sasa haujawekwa wazi na Mamlaka husika na hasa Shirika la Maendeleo ya Mafuta Tanzania. 

Ni vizuri wakawa wanauambia umma ili wenye nchi wajue. 

Gesi ya Tanzania ambayo imegunduliwa na kutangazwa mpaka hivi sasa ni 19 trillion cubic feet (11 tcf za British Gas, 5.3 tcf za StatOil na 2.7 tcf za kampuni nyingine ndogo ndogo).  Bei ya wastani ya Gesi Asilia iliyopo katika soko la Dunia kwa wakati huu ni USD 7 kwa kila 1,000 cubic feet (cf). Hata hivyo, JPMorgan walipofanya tathmini zao, imeonesha kuwa hifadhi ya British Gas ni takribani 60tcf na zile za StatOil ni takribani 25tcf. 

Hivyo basi, utajiri wa Tanzania wa Gesi Asilia unakadiriwa kufikia 85tcf, na kwa kasi ya utafutaji inavyoendelea inakadiriwa kuwa mwaka 2014, Tanzania itakuwa inaongoza katika Afrika kwa utajiri wa Gesi na kuishinda Nigeria yenye 189tcf hivi sasa. 

Kwa makadirio ya chini kwa viwango tajwa, thamani ya Gesi yote ya Tanzania iliyopo sasa ni Dola za Kimarekani Trilioni 6.

Utajiri uliotangazwa mpaka sasa ni wa visima vya Songosongo, Mkuranga, MnaziBay na visima vya kina kirefu vinavyoendeshwa na Kampuni za StatOil ya Norway na BG ya Uingereza.

Mpango kamambe wa Gesi, Sera na Sheria ya Gesi na Sheria ya Usimamizi wa wa Mapato ya Mafuta na Gesi ni masuala ya kumaliza sasa. 

Tujipange kuhakikisha Uwazi na Uwajibikaji ili Utajiri huu ulete maendeleo ya WATU wa Tanzania. Kila mtu atimize wajibu wake sasa. Tusisubiri kulaumiana kama ilivyokuwa sekta ya Madini. Tuchukue hatua sasa kuweka sawa usimamizi wa sekta ndogo ya Mafuta na Gesi. 

Sheria ya Usimamizi wa Mapato za Mafuta na Gesi ya Ghana (Petroleum Revenue Management Act 2011) ni nzuri sana. Waziri wa Fedha aliahidi kwenye 'letter of intent' kwa IMF kwamba tutatunga sheria kama hiyo ifikapo mwisho wa mwaka. Nadhani sheria hii inaandikwa kwa siri sana maana imekuwa kimya sana. 

Sheria ya Usimamizi wa Mapato ya Mafuta na Gesi Asilia inapaswa kuwa wazi kuanzia matayarisho ya kuandikwa kwake mpaka katika utekelezaji wake. Uwazi na Uwajibikaji ni dhana muhimu sana katika kuhakikisha Taifa linafaidika na utajiri wa Mafuta na Gesi na Nchi kuepuka laana ya Mafuta (Oil Curse).

The team at  Google AdSense  has recently made a few improvements related to AdSense reporting to help publishers using this income generating service find information more quickly:

When selecting a date range for your reports, you’ll now have an ‘All time’ option to view all earnings, impressions, and clicks accrued since your first impression. If you used the previous AdSense interface, you may remember this feature -- it now has a new home in the current AdSense interface as well.

There are added quick links to your reports under the My ads tab thereby eliminating the need to search for ad units or channels in your reports. When viewing your ad units, custom channels, or URL channels on the My ads tab, just click ‘View report’ below a specific line item to view performance data for that particular ad unit or channel. This feature is particularly useful if you’re looking for channel data that isn’t linked to ad units in the interface, and will help you save time.  

Just as the placement of commas and periods can change the meaning of sentences, the same is true when it comes to numbers and figures. For example, an amount written as $1,000.00 in the US or UK would be written as $1.000,00 in most of Europe and South America. Previously in AdSense, only the $1,000.00 format was available for downloadable reports, which created difficulties for a number of International publishers trying to export CSVs to analyze the data. Now, based on your language preference, you can export CSVs with figures in the relevant format.  

The government, corporations and any other human rights groups and activists have been called to take precaution measures that will completely curb land disputes problems which for great impact have resulted into the abandoning of women and children in Kilolo district by their fathers and husbands respectively.

Fortinet Mheluka (10), a grade 3 student at Ngongwa primary school located at Lukani village, Nguruhe area is one among the abandoned children described that her grandmother Atupoka Kihongozi (80) and grandfather Alatanga Kandinde (85) respectively suffers cerebral discomfort together with her 7 year old young sister have all their eyes on her so she has to get used providing for the family.

With little assistance from her grandfather they also used to slow hoe into farms picking peanut peas for sell where they earned wages of 2,000 to 3,000 shillings per day and it was all spent on food and other household needs.

“If it happens that I did not went to school that day I used to pass by villagers farms to pick peanut peas and due to long distances I manage to fill up only two baskets and get paied 2,000 to 3,000 shillings per day and my grandfather is responsible to buy us food using the money I earn,” Fortinet Mheluka was quoted.

Nadhani ninyi nyote mmeona malalamiko ya huyu ndugu yetu aliyetaka kuja kutoa zawadi ward za  watoto muhimbili na akazungushwa. Mimi ninayeandika  ni huyo Agnes Mtawa asiyemfahamu.

Ninapenda tu kutoa angalizo kwamba tusiwe watu wa kulaumu tuu hata kama hatukufuata utaratibu.Ninavyojua mimi kila taasis inautaratibu wake ambao unapaswa kufuatwa. No matter hata kama unataka kutoa msaada. Msaada bila utaratibu haukubaliki. Huwezi  kutoka tu huko kwa sababu unauwezo wa kutoa msaada basi ukaingia taasisi au sehemu yoyote ile bila kibali. Nafikiri , kama Inafanyika huko kwingine basi hapa Muhimbili hallikubaliki.

Tumepewa dhamana ya kutoa huduma kwa  binadamu na siyo wanyama, ambao chochote kunachopelekwa au kutolewa kwao ni lazima yule aliyepewa dhamana ajiridhishe kwamba hicho kitu ni genuine, hakina madhara ndipo aruhusu kukitoa kwa wagonjwa.

Kwa hiyo badala ya kulaumu  ni vema ungeuliza na kufuata  utaratibu unaotakiwa kama policy ya Hospitali iliyo.
 
Sijui huko unakofanya kazi wewe kama wao hawana utaratibu,kwamba mtu anapojisikia tu kwenda kufanya chochote kile basi anaruhusiwa.

Kwa hilo sikubaliani na wewe.na imekuwa tabia na hasa kwa wenzetu mliobahatika kupata exposure  kwamba unapokwenda mahali bila utaratibu,na ukaelezwa utaratibu basi unahusisha na pesa na kujenga image mbaya sana kwa wenzenu. Nafikiri siyo sahihi hata kidogo. Ili kuepukana na fikra hizo potofu basi fuata utaratibu wa kuomba kibali, tena siku za kazi ili kweze kufanyiwa kazi na mhusika halisi ili uendelee na utaratibu uliyojipangia.

Wafanyakazi wa Shirika la ukaguzi na usimamizi wa vyama vya ushirika nchini –COASCO limemtaka mkurugenzi mkuu Severini Mosha na mkurugenzi wa fedha wa shirika hilo Hakimu Nyange kujiuzulu nyadhifa zao ndani ya siku saba kwa tuhuma za matumizi mabaya ya fedha na kugawana raslimali za shirika kinyume na taratibu.

Wafanyakazi hao wa COASCO wametoa tamko hilo wakati wa mkutano wa baraza la wafanyakazi wa shirika hilo unaofanyika mjini Dodoma.

Hoja ya kutaka viongozi hao wajiuzulu ilitolewa na mwakilishi wa Shirika hilo kutoka mkoani Mbeya Alinabnuswe Mwakapala na kuungwa mkono na wajumbe waliohudhuria mkutano wa baraza hilo kwa kutia saini.

Katika hatua ambayo haikutarajiwa na wajumbe wa mkutano huo mmoja wa wajumbe hao Jeremiah Mgetwa kutoka mkoani Shinyanga alikataa kuunga mkono azimio hilo na ikalazimu wajumbe hao kumtoa nje ya mkutano kwa madai kuwa si mwenzao na hapaswi kuendelea kushiriki mkutano huo.

The number of people using food stumps in the USA has increased partly due to the economic troubles of the past few years.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture reports that an average of 44 million people were on food assistance last year (that's up from 17 million in 2000). What might be surprising, though, is one subgroup that's taken a particularly hard hit.

The number of people with graduate degrees — master's degrees and doctorates — who have had to apply for food stamps, unemployment or other assistance more than tripled between 2007 and 2010, according to a report in The Chronicle of Higher Education.

In 2010, the report says, 360,000 of the 22 million Americans with graduate degrees received some kind of public assistance.

Chronicle reporter Stacey Patton spoke with Tell Me More host Michel Martin about why so many highly educated Americans have to rely on this type of aid.

KAMPALA, Uganda — Influential church leaders are calling for an end to the 26-year rule of President Yoweri Museveni, who is resisting efforts to restore term limits on his office and is facing record-low public-approval ratings.

Catholic Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga urged Mr. Museveni to retire after the end of his current term in four years.

"The best present Museveni can give to Ugandans in 2016 is peacefully handing over power," he said at an Easter Mass.

Zac Niringiye, an assistant Anglican bishop in Kampala, has been crisscrossing the eastern African nation, seeking support for the restoration of term limits that were scrapped in 2005.

"The time has come to imagine a different future," said Bishop Niringiye, who added that his life has been threatened since he started his campaign for term limits.

"I hear security forces are plotting against me, but this is part of God's ministry," he said.

The Rev. Joseph Serwadda, a Protestant pastor of the Born-Again Faith Federation, recently called for Mr. Museveni simply to "step aside."

Christians make up more than 80 percent of the population of 36 million, but Muslims, who compose only 12 percent, have also complained that Mr. Museveni has been meddling in Islamic affairs.

One of the nation's best known priests is now caught up in a shocking scandal.

Reverend Thomas Williams admits he fathered a child, even as he was the high-profile face of the Catholic Church to millions of TV viewers.

Father Williams appeared frequently as a commentator on both CBS and NBC, often broadcasting live from the Vatican.

He was also the author of Knowing Right From Wrong: A Christian Guide to Conscience. 

Now he's confessing that he had a relationship with a woman and fathered a child "a number of years ago."

He apologized in a statement "for this grave transgression," saying, "I am truly sorry to everyone who is hurt by this revelation, and I ask for your prayers as I seek guidance on how to make up for my errors."

Father Williams has taken a year off to "reflect," and is reportedly staying with his parents in Michigan.

His religious order, the Legion Of Christ, says it's sorry it didn't act "earlier and more firmly" to remove him as the television priest.  - InsideEdition
