Mwishoni mwa wiki iliyopita, Kamati ya Utendaji ya Simba Sports Club ilikutana kujadili masuala anuai ya klabu na yafuatayo ni maazimio yaliyofikiwa mara baada ya mkutano huo.

Kuhusu Jerry Santo

Klabu ilikubaliana na ombi la mchezaji wake Jerry Santo aliyeomba aruhusiwe kwenda barani Asia kucheza soka la kulipwa mara baada ya kumalizika kwa mkataba wake wa sasa na Simba mwezi huu.

Simba inamtakia heri na fanaka mchezaji huyo kwenye maisha yake ya kisoka.

Nafasi ya Santo itajazwa na mchezaji kutoka nchini Uganda, Derick Walulya, ambaye kwa sasa anaichezea klabu ya Mamlaka ya Mapato Uganda (URA).

Moses Basena

Kamati ya Utendaji haikumjadili Moses Basena wala kuchukua maamuzi yoyote kumhusu. Hii inatokana na ukweli kwamba Simba SC ni klabu ya kistaarabu na inafahamu kuwa kocha wake huyo yuko kwenye msiba mzito wa mama yake mzazi.

Klabu ya Simba inapenda kutumia nafasi hii kukanusha habari zote kuhusu kusimamishwa au kufukuzwa kazi kwa Basena katika kipindi hiki kigumu kwake.

Wachezaji wa Timu ya Vijana ya Simba

Kama inavyofahamika, Simba imesajili wachezaji 26 kwa ajili ya Ligi Kuu ya Vodacom msimu huu ingawa Kanuni za TFF zinaruhusu timu kusajili wachezaji wasiozidi 30.

Kamati ya Utendaji imeamua kuwa nafasi nne zilizobaki (ili kufikia 30) zitajazwa na wachezaji kutoka timu za vijana za Simba.

Majina ya wachezaji hao yatapatikana baada ya Kamati ya Ufundi na Benchi la Ufundi kukutana na kujadiliana kuhusu wachezaji watakaofaa kwa ajili hiyo.

Simba ni timu ambayo falsafa yake ya soka inafahamika. Wachezaji ambao wamepikwa ndani ya timu (kama hao wa timu za vijana) wanafundishwa kwenye falsafa hiyo na wanatarajiwa kuwa mabalozi wazuri wa falsafa ya klabu.

Klabu maarufu na zenye mafanikio duniani kama vile Barcelona na Man United zimefanikiwa sana kwa kukuza vipaji kutoka kwenye timu zake za vijana.

Simba inaelekea kwenye njia hiyo.

Vurugu Viwanjani

Kamati ya Utendaji ya Simba imesikitishwa sana na vitendo vya vurugu vilivyofanywa na baadhi ya washabiki wake wakati wa mchezo wa mwisho wa raundi ya kwanza ya Ligi Kuu dhidi ya Moro United.

Washabiki hao wachache walikuwa wakitoa lugha ya matusi, vitisho na vurugu dhidi ya wachezaji na viongozi wa Simba waliokuwapo uwanjani.

Kamati iliazimia kuwa wakati umefika sasa kwa vyombo vya dola kushughulikia washabiki wanaofanya vitendo visivyo vya kiungwana katika viwanja vya soka nchini.

Kwa taarifa hii, Simba inawaomba washabiki wake waendelee kuwa alama ya uungwana na ustaarabu michezoni. Washabiki wa Simba wanafahamika kote duniani kwa sifa hii.

Simba SC haitatetea mpenzi au mwanachama wake yeyote atakayekutwa na hatia ya kufanya vitendo vya vurugu uwanjani.

Kufungwa na Yanga

Wajumbe wa Kamati ya Utendaji walieleza kusikitishwa kwao na kufungwa na Yanga katika mchezo wa Ligi Kuu msimu huu.

Kamati inafahamu machungu ambayo wapenzi na wanachama wa Simba waliyapata baada ya kipigo hicho.

Hata hivyo, Kamati inasisisitiza kuwa ni vema wapenzi wa Simba wakaanza kuitazama ligi kwa mapana yake. Ligi haipo kwa ajili ya Simba kuifunga Yanga pekee bali kutwaa ubingwa wa Tanzania na kuwakilisha Taifa katika michuano ya kimataifa.

Pamoja na kufungwa na Yanga, Simba inaongoza ligi si kwa kuwa na pointi nyingi pekee bali pia kwa kuwa na idadi kubwa ya magoli ya kufunga na wastani mzuri wa magoli ya kufunga na kufungwa.

Hii ni ishara kuwa Simba ni timu bora Tanzania kwa sasa kwa vigezo vyovyote vile vya kimpira.

Kitendo cha washabiki kutuhumiana, kugombana na kutaka kufanya fujo kwa sababu ya kupoteza mechi moja na kusahau mazuri yote ambayo yamefanywa na timu ni kinyume cha uanamichezo.

The future of Tanzania's Yanga FC coach Sam Timbe in the team appears uncertain as the club management is contemplating to terminate his contract.

This is  owing to the team’s poor show in the Vodacom Premier League. A member of the club’s executive committee who declined to be named said the leadership was contemplating terminating its contract with the Ugandan tactician.

“We are extremely disappointed by the results under Timbe, and he’s aware of this since we have made our concern known to him,” the committee member who declined to be named, said.

Yanga, popularly known as Dar Young Africans have been far from impressive this season.The Mainland champions’ hopes to turn millions of shillings they spent on new signings into a silverware suffered a serious setback on Sunday when they lost 1-0 to Azam FC at the National Stadium.

“We spent lots of money in the exercise, but the team’s performance in the league this season is disappointing. They have been losing matches they could have won, it’s a shame,” he added. 

When contacted for comment on the matter, Yanga chairman Lloyd Nchunga confirmed that Timbe’s future is not assured after poor results in as many matches. “He may not survive the heat if we lose our next match because both players and fans now believe he can’t manage to propel our team to higher heights,” he insisted.

Nchunga said there was no reason for Yanga to perform poorly in the league because Timbe has some of the best players at his disposal at the moment. The same Timbe was hailed as ‘super coach’ by some club members when Yanga clinched the Cecafa Kagame Cup trophy early this year.

Press release 20.09.11 - Tanzanian/Danish Mzungu Kichaa LIVE IN KAMPALA

Mzungu Kichaa did a blinding show at the Bayimba International Festival of the Arts on the closing night of the festival (sunday 18. september 2011), Kampala, Uganda. This has been a long anticipated show and marks the first performance for the artist in Uganda. Mzungu Kichaa has performed several times in Kenya, so the new country is part of an important step in Mzungu Kichaa's career in East Africa, said his manager from Caravan Records.

In a public interview on stage after the performance that included his Tanzanian backing band Bongo Beat and a guest percussionist from Senegal, Mzungu Kichaa said that it was important for him to be able to represent his music in Africa and commended the festival for giving professional musicians a platform to perform on a professional stage in their home region. Mzungu Kichaa said, that it is a shame that top African names often end up performing more concerts outside the African continent due to better performance rates in Europe and America. He said that he considers himself African first and foremost, and that he would do his best to perform as much as possible on the continent.

The Ugandan audience received Mzungu Kichaa with a warm applaud and were particularly taken aback by his debut album title track Tuko Pamoja which he introduced to the public with a greeting in Luganda. During his performance Mzungu Kichaa told the Ugandan audience that it was time to embrace kiswahili and that although it may have been the language of the military during political hard times in Uganda, his song, Tuko Pamoja, was a call for unity. The crowd also showed Mzungu Kichaa love when he had them sing "na na na na na na na na na vijana wa Kampala ni wajanja".
