Since October 2nd, 2009, the DV lottery 2011  has been open and it will close in November 30th, 2009. I have received messages from a close friend (see screen shot below) and a relative citing that there is a problem with the Photo Validator and also when Submitting the filled out form. On both occasions, the website returns an error page  no matter the number of times you try on different days.

The problem has been there since the opening of applications, until now when I write this post. In the past week, I tried to upload a photo in order try it out and I was given an error page (see screen shot below)

Trying to make sure that the problem was not on one geographical location, I tried to google around to see if anybody has written something about the problem, and sure enough, there are a couple of complaints in some e-discussion forums and on Yahoo! Answers. Unfortunately, there is no solution from the user end but suggestions that they write to the site's webmaster.

I suggest that people write a message to them via email addresses given in the "How to Contact Us" help section of the Official US DV Lottery 2011 website and . For those who can call, there is also a phone number mentioned. Please see the details below.
