Jaume Marquet Cot better know by the name "Jimmy Jump" who looked like was trying to grab the World Cup trophy but just put a hat on top of it, a few minutes at the FIFA's Final match of the World Cup in South Africa, has been fined 2,000 Rand by a South African court. Cot appeared in a Johannesburg court charged with trespassing and attempted theft at the match between Netherlands and Spain. The 34-year-old escaped the security and run more than 50 meters across the pitch on the north side and was eventually tackled within a few feet of the trophy. An official guarding the trophy came rushing from the other side, then punched him to the floor, after which he was carried into the tunnel before being arrested. It is said that he did not intend steal the trophy, rather, wanted to put the Spanish-style hat he has on it. People who know him say he is a notorious and serial invader at major events - his last stunt seeing him find his way onto the stage during Spain's performance at the Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, Norway.
