Perhaps you've been wondering about the same question.

Well, after wasting a few minutes trying to figure out where those Skype snapshots were buried in my computer, I did a "google search" and found an answer from Skype's website, that  by default, video snapshots are saved in the following locations:

• Mac OS X: Select them from the "Recent Pictures" dropdown list in the "Avatar Picker"
• Windows Vista /7 go to C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Skype\Pictures
• Windows XP go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Skype\Pictures

Where <user name> is your Windows user name.
