In a soccer match to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2012) between Group D qualifiers, in a match that played on Saturday, September 3rd, 2011, in Dar Es-Salaam, Tanzania and Algeria drew 1 - 1 (ht: 1-0).

Tanzanians opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of game by Mbwana Samata before Hameur Bouazza equalized for the "Greens" in the 56th minute. 

After the match, both teams remain in 4th place with 5 points, waiting the Group’s other match on Sunday in Bangui, between the co-leaders (7 points), Central Africa and Morocco.
