Course announcement: Understanding Children's Human Rights

Thursday 10 & Friday 11 April 2014

We are very pleased to announce that our updated and extended two-day course addressing international human rights law as it affects children will be held at LSE on Thursday 10 April and Friday 11 April 2014. Booking will open on Friday 7 February, and those who book by Friday 28 February can claim a 10% discount on the course fee.

This two-day, expert-led course is designed for those involved in either developing policy and practice in relation to children, or working in child rights and child protection. At the end of the course participants will have comprehensive information on the international framework to guarantee the rights of the child and also on how to use and apply this in a domestic setting.

The standard fee is £900, or £600 for voluntary sector organisations. The fee includes a comprehensive set of supporting papers in hard copy and electronic format, lunch and refreshments over both days. There are a small number of subsidised places available for those who would otherwise be unable to participate. Find out more about the Understanding Children's Human Rights course.
