UDA buses will provide Wi-Fi capable internet service

Tanzania’s commercial capital Dar es Salaam will -- by the end of 2014 -- receive 3,000 brand-new buses with Wi-Fi internet connection, reports Michuzi’s Globu ya Jamii blog.

UDA that recently introduced 200 new buses to serve Dar es Salaam transport needs.

Majority of approximately 4 million people rely on Dar’s buses public transportation system.

Dar es Salaam Regional Transport Licensing Authority (DRTLA) record shows that there are about 7,000 privately owned buses servicing the city.
