Since September 2013, staff and students at Muhimbili University have cooperated with the wholly student-run Cambridge Development Initiative to develop a course in the foundations of health entrepreneurship. We look forward to welcoming you in the first intake of this new course in August!
Quick facts:
- 2 week short course: August 11 to August 22, 2014
- Deadline to apply: 12pm Noon August 8, 2014
- Certified by Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences
- Delivered by Cambridge Development Initiative (University of Cambridge) and School of Nursing (Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences)
- Cost: 150 USD for MUHAS Students, 200 USD for others
The course will offer you the skills to make a greater impact in your chosen field. It will help you run sustainable projects and generate new revenue streams both in your own enterprise and the public sector. To make this a practical education, a Capstone Project will allow you to apply your learnings directly to your own ideas.
Whatever the type of business you want to found – for example a maternity / nursing home, drug store / health shop, private clinic or a research/consultancy firm – this course is designed to give you the foundation for opening your own venture and managing it well.
