"'It was obvious through autopsy that there was black smoke on the breathing airways, windpipes and in the two lungs,' the prosecutor's site said. 'This is proof of inhalation of this material during the torch, while he was alive.'
"The autopsy was conducted by Israeli doctors and attended by the Palestinian coroner..." (imenukuliwa kutoka NPR)

Tanzania liberalises Capital Account for EAC residents

Tanzania has liberalized its Capital Account for all East African Community (EAC) residents, which allows them to participate in the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) securities, and to a limited extent in government securities.

The move allows Tanzanians to invest in the region without requiring prior permission from the country’s Central Bank, Bank of Tanzania (BoT).

This is significant stride to fulfill the requirements of the EAC Common Market as annexed in its Schedule on the Removal of Restrictions on the Free Movement of Capital by 2015. -- Read more
