Kwa nianze kwa kumshukuru mwenyezi Mungu anawezesha yote na kutujalia uhai

Waheshimiwa Mabibi na mabwana, vijana na wazee, watoto na wakubwa, Baba zangu na Mama zangu na wanadau wote wanaoishi Moshi na wenyeji wa Moshi walio ndani na nje ya Moshi.

Mimi mtoto wenu, mdogo wenu na kijana wenu DAUDI BABU MRINDOKO, nina heshima kubwa na unyeyekevu kwenu. Pia nawashukuruni sana kwa kunishawishi niweze kuchukua fomu ya kugombea nafasi ya ubunge wa jimbo la Moshi Mjini katika uchaguzi mkuu 2015, kwa tafsiri ya Ubunge yaani utumishi, mtetezi,msemaji, mwakilishi n.k 

Katika baraza la kutunga sheria na Katiba yaani Bunge, na katika tafsiri hii ya majina ya kazi hii lazima mtumishi awe mkweli, muwazi na aliyeweka mbele kwanza maslahi ya waliomchagua.

Waheshimiwa mabibi na mabwana,vijana na wazee, watoto na wakubwa ,Baba zangu na mama zangu, kunishawishi kwenu kulinifanya niwe kimya kiasi na nikiwa najiuliza maswali mengi kichwani! Lakini maswali makubwa yalikuwa matatu: 

(a) Nashawishiwa na jamii nichukue fomu kwa kuwa mimi ni kijana mwenywe uwezo wa kuifanya kazi hii?

(b) Nashawishiwa kwa kuwa kijana niliyezaliwa na kuelimishwa na wanaonishawishi? Yaani wananchi wa Moshi Mjini na ndiyo wananitambua tabia na uwezo wangu wa kikazi.

(c) Swali lingine nililojiuliza ni: Hivi mtoto au kijana mwenye adabu, nidhamu na heshima kwa wazee na wakubwa zake walikuwa katika jamii wakimteua au kumtuma kufanya kitu au jambo tena kwa faida na maslahi ya jamii, itakuwa vyema kijana huyo akatae? au asikubali kutumwa huko?

Baada ya kujiuliza mashwali hayo na mengineyo nimepata jibu ambalo:

NAKUBALI WITO WENU NA USHAWISHI WENU

Kuwa nitachukua fomu ya kuomba kugombea Ubunge 2015 jimbo la Moshi Mjini.

Mmenishawishi nami nashawishika na kuthubutu kuchukua fomu ya kugombea Ubunge, kwa kuwa siwezi kuwa mvunjifu au mtovu wa adabu kukataa wito na ushawishi wenu ambao wazee wangu, vijana wenzangu, mama na baba zangu wa Moshi Mjini mmeniteua kwa kunishawishi niweze kuja kuwa mtumishi wenu Mbunge.

Kwa kuwa mmenizaa, mmenilea, mmenisomesha mpaka elimu ya juu na mmenishawishi kwa kuwa mnaniamini mimi ni mmoja wenu katika maisha ya kila siku katika jamii yetu Moshi, nayafahamu wazi mahitaji yetu, kero zetu na kipi jamii yetu haitaki na kipi. Jamii yetu inataka hapa jimboni Moshi Mjini, marekebisho gani yanatakiwa hapa Moshi Mjini ili palete tumaini jema na maana kamili wa wakazi wote jimboni hapa. Nayafahamu yote.

Nanyi mmemshawishi kijana Daudi Babu Mrindoko, mtoto wenu kwa hakika mmetuma mtumishi anayeguswa na yanayowagusa, anayekerwa na yale mnayokelwa, anafurahishwa na yale mnayofurahia. Kwani mwenzenu katika jamii jimboni Moshi mjini. Nawashukuruni sana na Asante sana kwa kunishawishi, Nimeshawishika. Nangojea wakati ukifika nami nifuate taratibu zote za kuchukua fomu kupitia Chama tawala"

Mwanafunzi afia darasani baada ya kuchapwa na Mwalimu

Mwanafunzi wa kidato cha pili katika Shule ya Sekondari Matui wilayani Kiteto, amefariki dunia darasani baada ya kudaiwa kuchapwa viboko na walimu watatu wa shule hiyo kwa kile kilichodaiwa kufeli mtihani wa Kiswahili.

Polisi wilayani na mkoani Manyara wanamshikilia mwalimu mmoja baada ya wenzake kukimbia baada ya tukio hilo.

Akizungumza jana, Mkuu wa Wilaya ya Kiteto, Kanali Samwel Nzoka alimtaja mwanafunzi huyo aliyepoteza maisha kuwa ni Noel Bichima (15).

Kanali Nzoka alisema tukio hilo lilitokea juzi asubuhi wakiwa darasani wakati mwalimu huyo anayeshikiliwa na polisi alipokuwa akiwafundisha. Inadaiwa mwanafunzi huyo alichapwa viboko vinane. Haikuelezwa kama alichapwa kiganjani ama sehemu nyingine.

Nzoka alidai kuwa mwalimu huyo alimchapa marehemu baada ya kupata alama 40 katika mtihani wa somo la Kiswahili kwani walipeana mkakati wa kutofeli na kwamba mwanafunzi atakayepata chini ya alama 40 atachapwa fimbo 12.

“Mwanafunzi huyo alifariki dunia papo hapo darasani baada ya kuanguka chini alipochapwa viboko na walimu hao na mwili wake umehifadhiwa kwenye Hospitali ya Wilaya ya Kiteto ukisubiri uchunguzi,” “Natoa wito kwa walimu wa shule za msingi na sekondari, kuangalia namna ya kutoa adhabu kwa wanafunzi wanapokosea, baadhi ya watoto afya zao siyo nzuri,” 
alisema Kanali Nzoka.

Diwani wa Kata ya Matui, Athumani Kidawa alisema baadhi ya wazazi wa eneo hilo waliopatwa na hasira baada ya kutokea tukio hilo, waliandamana hadi Kituo cha Polisi Matui kulalamikia kitendo hicho.

Walionusurika ajalini wamesema kuwa dereva wa lori alikuwa anaendesha gari katikati ya barabara huku dereva wa basi akiwa katika mwendo kasi na katika kukwepa, basi hilo aligonga tela la lori kisha kupinduka.

Kamanda wa polisi mkoa wa Shinyanga, Justus Kamugisha aliyeko eneo la tukio alisema watu 10 wamepoteza maisha katika ajali hiyo kati yao 9 walifariki dunia papo hapo huku majeruhi 50 wakiwemo wanawake 13, wanaume 36 na mtoto mmoja wa kiume wakiwa wanaendelea na matibabu katika hospitali ya mkoa wa Shinyanga.

ZIFF 2015 ANNOUNCES OFFICIAL SELECTION

The Zanzibar International Film Festival is the longest running film-festival in East Africa, with global credibility and instant Pan-African recognition. ZIFF 2015 will take place from the 18th – 26th of July 2015 in Stonetown.


ZIFF is proud to announce the films in the Official Selection based on a record 419 submissions. The list contains 25 feature films, 44 shorts and 27 documentaries from over 30 countries across the globe.
Festival Director Dr. Martin Mhando had this to say of the submissions and selections for ZIFF 2015, “We would like to congratulate and thank all those who submitted their films. With so many films to choose from the selection process was especially difficult.  This has been the largest number of films received to date. We are also pleased to say that the online submission process was a success, with 90% of all the films were submitted online through the FESTHOME platform.”
The entries came from 38 countries with the largest number of entrants coming from Germany and with The Dominican Republic having its first entry in ZIFF 2015.
Speaking on ZIFF 2015, Mandy Roger TV Director ZUKU noted, “We have in the past 2 years of our sponsorship witnessed significant growth in content development rising from the festival. As a broadcaster, ZUKU is deeply invested in the growth and success of East Africa's creative and content industries. It is therefore with pride we continue to partner the Zanzibar International Film Festival, which has for the last 15 been instrumental in celebrating and enabling film making from the region and around the world." 
The selection committee also noted a clear growth in the quality of short films from Africa revealing a refreshing creative input and experimentation with film language.
East Africa is well represented at ZIFF 2015 with 7 films from Tanzania to compete in the general competition. Within the Official Selection Kenya leads in the region with 9 films selected, while Uganda has 3, Burundi 2 and Rwanda 1. South Africa has 7 films in competition this year.
Selected films for the Bongo Movies competition, which is backed by the Satelite TV Channel ZUKU will be announced at a later date. ZUKU is also the event sponsor of the festival.
It has also been announced that the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award winning film Selma will officially open ZIFF 2015 on the evening of July18th.
As in previous years ZIFF will welcome dozens of professional and aspiring film directors, producers from across Africa and the world for 8 days of film, music and cultural celebration.
