The above investment has led to great achievements towards achieving the targets of our strategy which saw 200,452 young people access Sexual Reproductive health and Rights programmes and/or services while 11,433 young people accessed business development or employment schemes, training and services, Entrepreneurship and career development. We mobilized over 600,000 young people to engage in the national election process where 52,933 young people were reached in civic education through seminars and workshops, 2000 were supported to take up positions on decision making bodies from community to national level. Restless Development is urgently needs to carry out mapping exercise on the existing youth groups and network. The mapping exercise is aimed to provide a detailed information on how youth-led groups and networks, both informal and formal are structured, organized and how these groups influence their communities. Moreover, the study is expected to contribute knowledge on youth groups and networks formation, management and the development of a model that will be replicated across the country. Although Restless Development has worked in Tanzania for 23 years, working directly with young people and supported the establishment of over 122 Youth Entrepreneurship Groups and 18 Youth Networks, the general concept of youth groups and networks is still not clear. The mapping exercise will focus in shedding light on the proper understanding of the stated concepts and definitely come up with a clear youth groups and network model that will be used across Organization and as well as be replicated to other youth-focused and youth-led organization in and out of Tanzania. The selected consultant will be expected to work in collaboration with Restless Development to conduct this exercise across the sampled mainland regions.
