Energy officials from Uganda and Tanzania meet over oil pipeline

Vikao vya jana na leo (05.07. 2016) vimekuwa vya mafanikio makubwa yakiwemo; (1) Kampuni ya CNOOC (China) na TULLOW (UK) zimekubali kushiriki kwenye ujenzi wa Bomba hili. Hapo awali Makampuni haya 2 yalikuwa yakiunga mkono Bomba la Kenya. Uganda and Tanzania Energy Authorities met on July 5th, 2016 over the proposed construction of the 1,403KM oil Pipeline from Hoima to Tanga Port. As Rheiner Ojon reports among other issues the ongoing meeting in South Western Uganda is the proposal to narrow the pipeline corridor out of the earlier 20 metre width as a way of managing the project’s costs.
