D-Prize for new entrepreneurs for poverty interventions

D-Prize is for aspiring entrepreneurs from anywhere in the world, of any age, and of any background. You must be an ambitious leader ready to grow your company/NGO for years to come.

We will consider funding existing organizations. However we are only a fit if: you are piloting a new distribution-focused initiative, and you need high-risk capital. We will need to understand why your funding cannot come from somewhere else.
  1. Submit a resume and concept note by Dec 15 (early deadline), Dec 29 (regular deadline), or Jan 8 (limited extension). Early submissions encouraged.
  2. The top 5% of entrepreneurs will be invited to submit a full 10 page proposal. Full plans are due within four weeks of being invited to submit.
  3. The top entrepreneurs will interview with judges. Winners will receive up to $20,000, mentorship, and other support as you launch.
