- You have a Master's degree in public health, communication, or marketing
- You have 15 years' experience working in international health, including experience in a technical leadership capacity on large projects focused primarily on social behavior change
- You are a Senior technical expert in at least one of the project's priority health areas (FP/RH, HIV/AIDS, MCH, malaria), gender or youth; with sufficient understanding of all these areas to direct integrated efforts
- You have demonstrated thought leadership in the field of SBC, social marketing or another behavior change discipline, with a proven record of innovation in programming and are comfortable writing about and presenting your work
- You possess a strong understanding of best practices in individual and institutional capacity strengthening for SBC, and will have personal experience in applying key approaches
- You have designed, implemented and evaluated SBC programs with demonstrated health impact
- You have experience providing SBC technical direction to projects and strategically designing programs
- You have used multi-disciplinary approaches to design and implement SBC programs or brought inter-disciplinary teams together to take on a challenge
- You have experience engaging beneficiaries in intervention design and development
- You are willing to travel approximately 25% during the life of the program
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- At least 5 years of experience living or working in a developing country is highly preferred
- Fluency in English required, French preferred
