List of ISH scholarships available at different London institutions for the 2017/18 AY

There are a range of ISH scholarships available in partnership with a number of different London institutions. Applications are made to the relevant universities in the first instance and then ISH will normally consider a shortlist of candidates put forward by their universities. So far, the following universities will accept applications for the ISH scholarships listed below for 2017/18. This webpage will be updated with new opportunities when they arise.

1. University of Westminster

The University of Westminster is one of ISH’s longest-standing scholarship partners and each year up to 20 University of Westminster scholars are housed at ISH. For 2017/18, ISH will be supporting the following Westminster scholarships:

2. SOAS, University of London

ISH and SOAS are pleased to co-sponsor at least 7 scholarships for Masters students in 2017/18, including the schemes listed below:

3. Institute of Education, University College London

Three awards are available: two IOE-ISH Centenary Taught Masters Scholarships, including the Mary Trevelyan Centenary Scholarship, named after ISH’s founder and first Director, plus one IOE-ISH Centenary Doctoral Scholarship. Details at

4. Institute of Global Health, University College London

African Graduate Scholarships Two scholarships are available for African nationals currently resident in an African country and who have been accepted on to a full-time MSc in Global Health and Development at UCL.

5. University of the Arts

UAL Vice-Chancellor’s Postgraduate International Scholarships Eight places are available under this scheme at ISH:–funding/scholarships-search/ual-vice-chancellors-postgraduate-international-scholarships/

The Tara Nirula International Students House Scholarship, which commemorates an exceptional young woman, whose life was sadly cut short. This scholarship is for Indian applicants to the London College of Fashion with the ability and potential to make a contribution to the worlds of art, design, communication and performance.–funding/scholarships-search/tara-nirula-ishlcf-graduate-scholarship/

6. London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

Six scholarships are offered to candidates from a low or middle-income Commonwealth country with an offer of a place on the MSc Public Health for Eye Care course at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
