Job: Chief of Party, Tanzania Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Support Activity

PATH is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the positon of Chief of Party (COP) for the upcoming Tanzania Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Support Activity (MSNSA) program funded by USAID. The COP should have significant leadership, management, and international development experience; a demonstrated track record in successfully managing integrated programs as well as government and private-sector relations; and a commitment to real capacity-building. This will be a contract position pending award from USAID.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the design and implementation of the Tanzania MSNSA program.
  • Lead and provide expertise in developing and executing sustainable, integrated nutrition practices.
  • Facilitate dialogue with all levels of government, including other sectors, outside of health, and working at the district and community level.
  • Ensure the effective use and coordination of USAID resources and the compliance of the financial systems and controls with USAID standards
  • Lead internal and external program planning and reporting, including annual work planning with sub recipients.
  • Develop and manage a team that includes members of diverse backgrounds in order to successfully co-create and implement a sustainable integrated design.
  • Ensure sound financial management including programmatic budgeting, spending projections, and monitoring of payments.
  • Serve as the primary representative of the project to USAID.
