The McCaughey PhD Scholarship in the area of sheep reproduction

Background: An opportunity is available for an outstanding PhD scholar in the area of sheep reproduction. The project will investigate factors that influence male fertility.

The Scholarship funds were generously gifted to the University by The McCaughey Memorial Institute.

Open to: Applicants must hold an undergraduate Honours degree in animal sciences (First Class or equivalent) or a Master's degree in a related field with a substantial research component.
Applicants must have applied and have been assessed for a RTP Scholarship by the Scholarship application closing date.

Value and Duration: The Scholarship will provide an annual stipend allowance equivalent to the minimum RTP rate (indexed on January One) for up to three years, subject to satisfactory academic performance. The recipient may apply for an extension of up to 3 months. A further 3 month extension may be possible, subject to funding availability.
