Boston University Presidential Scholarship

Each year, the Board of Admissions awards the Presidential Scholarship to their incoming first-year students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement. The Presidential Scholars demonstrate excellence beyond the classroom and are leaders in their schools and communities. This $25,000 tuition scholarship is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study at BU.

How to Apply

No additional essays or application forms are required. Students who wish to be considered for the Presidential Scholarship should submit their application and supporting credentials by December 1.

The AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship

The American University Emerging Global Leader Scholarship awards one international student who will need a visa (preferably an F-1 or J-1 student visa) to study in the U.S.A.

The AU EGL scholarship is renewable for a total of four years of undergraduate study, based on continued satisfactory academic performance.

GeneTex Scholarship Program

GeneTex believes in accelerating scientific advancement and the notion that the genesis of future discoveries begins with the support of young scientists now. The GeneTex Scholarship Program will award a $2000 (USD) scholarship to students pursuing a STEM undergraduate or graduate degree. The scholarship will be awarded to one student twice a year.

Eligibility
  • Student in good standing and enrolled at an accredited college or university
  • Declared STEM major
  • Open to international students
Applications will be accepted starting 1-3-2023 through 7-14-2023 for the Fall 2023 Scholarship

MPOWER 追梦永不息 Scholarship

Scholarships awarded annually to international and DACA students enrolled at schools MPOWER supports.

Awards:
  • US$5,000 Grand Prize (x1)
  • US$1,500 Runner-Up (x1)
  • US$500 Honorable Mention (x2)

Eligibility Requirements:

This scholarship is open to international graduate students with Chinese citizenship admitted to, or enrolled in, a full-time degree program at a U.S. or Canadian school that MPOWER supports.

You must be permitted to legally study in the U.S. or Canada, as applicable:For study in the U.S., this means that the applicant has a valid visa that permits study in the U.S. or is a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder).
For study in Canada, this means the applicant has a valid Canadian study permit.

You do not need to be an MPOWER borrower to apply.

Scholarships awarded annually to female international and DACA students who are currently enrolled or accepted to study full-time in a STEM degree program at a program MPOWER supports in the United States or Canada.

Awards:

  • Grand Prize: US$10,000
  • Honorable Mentions (2): US$2,000

FY 2024 Survey of International Educational Exchange Activity in the United States

The FY 2024 Survey of International Educational Exchange Activity in the United States provides for an accurate and current picture of international educational exchange activity in the United States in fulfillment of ECA’s mandate, under the Fulbright-Hays Act, to promote mutual understanding through international educational exchange. 

A recipient organization will be selected to conduct a comprehensive statistical survey (census) of foreign nationals enrolled in U.S. higher education institutions, foreign scholars at U.S. institutions, and U.S. students studying abroad for academic credit and to collaborate with national agencies, country representatives, and academic mobility researchers from around the world to collect and report accurate, timely and comprehensive data on global student mobility.

Call for applications for the 2024-2025 Fulbright African Research Scholar Program (ARSP)

The U.S. Embassy in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania is pleased to announce a call for applications for the 2024-2025 Fulbright African Research Scholar Program (ARSP).

Funding: $20,000–$50,000

Opens: August 1 every year

Deadline: November 15 every year

The American Association of University Women offers fellowships for non-American women who want to earn a Master’s or doctorate in the USA. Priority is given to women who can demonstrate commitment to the advancement of women and girls, and the scholarship may be reapplied every year of the program.
